Town is pretty far out of town, but it is a great place for building a house and having large yards. The neighborhoods can tend to be woodsy, but it also depends on where in Troy you go. It's overall a nice, quiet town but quite a shift from my other neighborhood.

There is no public pool or community center or even biking paths to go on throughout town. There is an empty dog track sitting by my house, and it would be a great idea to convert it into another high school, but the people in power want to make it a casino, which is a horrible idea, especially since it's right next to an elementary school.
Of course there are Chipotle and Noodles and Company, which are always good, but then there is a really good local restaurant downtown that is my favorite, called San Pedro's, and they have the best Caribbean/ Cajun food. So I like the local food very much.
