Troy is a small town of 2000 residents in New Hampshire. Being a small town we need to travel to nearby towns for services such as grocery shopping. We do have a great new community center which is being used for activities planned with to bring the town of Troy together.
The local businesses are very community oriented since it is a very small town. However, that being said, since it is a small community there is not many local businesses. Many that come end up closing after a little while. On the other hand, every local business is supportive of the community and is often involved in events in the area.
For the most part, there are just big chain restaurants. There are very few local restaurants; which is unfortunate.
