Nice area. Access to major highways. Plenty of schools and shopping areas. Low crime rate. Family friendly neighborhood. Also, very diverse. Great places to eat: Indian, Mediterranean, Asian, African, and plenty of other foods.

I feel as though its okay because in some areas and aspects it's good, and in others there is a lot that needs to be improved such as raising minimum wage, and bringing in more affordable housing.
There are plenty of outdoor activities to do near here, but not too much in comparison to the mountains (3 hours from here) or the coast (3 hours from here). We are smack in the middle in the piedmont area. However, there are some very nice hiking trails, lakes and local parks.
