We moved to Trent for the school. The community here is wonderful. In the event of a tragedy in our community, the people pulled together. We became more of a family than just neighbors. I would like to see more upgrades in our town. It would be nice to have sidewalks and paved roads. The thought of more businesses would help our town grow.
The area that I live in provides a great starting point for me to expand my knowledge and understanding of the world. It is not too fast paced and it is also not an inhibiting environment towards my personal growth and success. The people around the area (Sweetwater, Trent, Merkel, Tye, and Abilene), are very supporting and friendly to one another. We are a fast growing section in the state of Texas.
The housing market in the area is extremely affordable and provides a good community that has many conveniences for any family or person regardless of age, national origin, ethnicity, gender, social status, or religious preference.
