It's a wonderful area. My only complaint is the lack of public transportation around- without sidewalks around it's hard to get to places. But Potomac Village is great and continues to add new businesses.
For the most part, I feel safe in my area. There are always lots of people around that are willing to help. Though the lighting at night is not great so it can be a bit unsettling.
