I have lived in Travelers Rest my entire life, and absolutely love it! It is a small town that has a love for the community. I am sad to see that it is becoming a busy and more commercialized town, but am glad to see that it is doing well and growing.

Travelers Rest is a lovely, small community that is walking friendly in downtown and is full of good restaurants. There are many residents that are adverse to the growth and change of the community, however. Downtown is very busy during the warm months due to the Swamp Rabbit Trail and it is lacking in grocery stores, however there are many options within a 10-15 minute drive.
TR is nice and small and the people of the town are really friendly. There are numerous places to eat, drink coffee, and get outside! Tandem Creperie and Coffee House is especially delicious!
