I have lived here my entire life, and not once felt unsafe or uncomfortable in this town. Everyone seems very easy-going and are just great people that I am glad to know. I feel completely safe walking my dog at 12am, or going for a run at 6am. The only thing I would change would be to have a Five Guys restaurant in town.
It is still in the country, I drive past real Farms, yet I have Dairy Queen, literally a 10 minutes walk from my house. There are trails close by for biking and hiking. It's also close to many points of interest including the King of Prussia Mall, the Philadelphia premium outlets,

The Trappe area is relatively safe and great if you have a family to raise. Trappe is close to both the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, and the King of Prussia mall. Not to mention the countless eateries and mini malls in the surrounding area.
