I've lived in Torrance for over 10 years and all I have to say is LOCATION! Wherever you live in Torrance, in the outskirts or downtown, there's always something to do! The beach (Torrance, Redondo, or Hermosa) is a 10 minute drive. There's also the famous Del Amo mall, where you can get shopping done! Downtown LA is 20 minutes away down the 110 freeway! Running out of things to eat? Don't fret: Torrance offers a diverse variety of foods ranging from Peruvian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Indian, and American options! So many trendy coffee shops are popping up, too! If what you're looking for isn't in Torrance, neighboring cities like Redondo, Carson, Gardena, Lomita, Harbor City, Palos Verdes are all in a range of a 5-15 minute drive to get to what you need!

Here in Torrance we experience pristine SoCal weather! Since we are so close to the beach, the average temperate is between 75-82 degrees! It's amazing!

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else! :)

I love the diversity in Torrance. I also like the safety and the public schools in the area. Torrance is not as expensive as other cities nearby, but it would be better if the houses cost a little less. The location of the city is great. It is next to the beach and not very far from the airport. There are great libraries, restaurants, and most importantly shopping centers! There are several job opportunites for everyone especially teens.
I love Torrance because of it's cool coastal weather. It's a couple of miles away from the beach and the weather's always great! In addition, there are so many places to shop and eat around here that you don't need to go far for hardly anything. It's close to some of the most popular beaches of southern California like Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan Beach. They're all beautiful and clean.
