Working in Tonasket
This little town is very neet, average 13 days of no sun a year. "So you can bet your butt it's very hot!".all the people are so sweet, all the shops and stores are about 100 years old.along with the things inside them. tons of thrift and second hand stores, where you can find things from the 30's or 40's even 1800 and further in the past.you may feel as if you traveled to the past. But don't worry about a thing and don't move to fast. Make sure to do the speed limit when driving through town, you'll be sure to see the sheriff. Wave and say hi to at all the friendly people out enjoying the sunny days as you'll be looked at weird if you dont. And do try the taco bus,it is the best around!!
My experience in Tonasket Washington has taught me how to be happy and life to the fullest. I have grown to learn that I don't need a big city and don't need to be doing things all the time so I can be happy with life. What I like and enjoy about my small town is that it's such a magical feeling being in front of the mountain views in the middle of nature with animals, friends and family. Enjoying the little things like all the beautiful sunsets, awesome hikes, truck rides listening to music, playing with animals or spending time with family. The actions, lifestyle and way of thinking will leave an impact on myself. The only thing I would change is the amount of elective classes the high school offers.
Tonasket is a small town. People care about young children and teens here. They raised money to build a small water park, skateboard area, and rebuilt the community swimming pool.
