There's a lot of really rude, homophobic, transphobic, and racist people here and its shameful. There are a few good people here , but not enough to some how make your mind stray away from how awful this place is overall.
Small town, not much in the way for job opportunities unless you want to teach, work at the hospital, or wal-mart. Recently voted to remain dry. Forsee this town not progressing much anytime in the near future.
I was born and raised in Tompkinsville, KY. I love my town and the people in it. However, jobs are few and drugs are bad. I pray that jobs are introduced back into our town and the law enforcement crack down on the drug dealers and users. I have three kids and I want mytown safe for them.
