Working in Toccoa
The best part about Toccoa is the downtown area, there's a lot of cool buildings, and plenty of stuff to do, especially during the summer. The downtown always hosts the music festivals, carnivals, and other fun stuff to do, which makes it really great. The downtown is really the only great side to Toccoa, there's never really that much to do, or anything exciting happen, but that's what you get living in a small town.
Toccoa, meaning "beautiful" in the Cherokee language, does not deviate far from its name. At the foothills of The Appalachian Mountains, Toccoa is a peaceful little town full of wild life and natural beauty. My family has deep roots in this town and it is where I spent the duration of my adolescence until I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Now, after being in the Marine Corps for 4 years, I have traveled the world and never found a place as beautiful and serene as Toccoa, GA.
It's a small town but everybody is so passionate and caring. They're willing to do almost anything for you! I love living in Toccoa, Georgia.
