I like the Drake well museum, and the parks in town are beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately there is a drug problem that needs to be taken under control.
Titusville is a small and simple town. Even though there is not much to do, it is a very comfortable and family-friendly town. I have lived here all of my life and I love the "everybody knows everybody" feeling that this town has. We welcome everyone with open arms and hearts, and love to share our story on the oil boom and how Colonel Drake was the first to drill oil in our little town of Titusville, PA!
That it is a small town environment and that everyone knows everyone. I would change by bringing in more industries so there are more jobs.
Titusville is a lovely place in the great state of Pennsylvania with so much history and nice people.
Titusville is a small friendly town. Everybody knows everyone and you feel like you always have someone there for you. There isn't much to do in the small town of Titusville but it is a great place to go to school.
This town is full of drugs and delinquent children. I would never and I mean never raise my child in this town.
Titusville is a small community of about 1,000 people. Some people care about the community, some do not. The town does not have much room for advancement.
Small city with a big heart. Not much to do but titusville is only 2hours from pittsburgh and 2 hours from Buffalo and 2 hours From Cleveland.
It's a great small town, great for raising a family! Everyone is friendly. The crime rate is very low as well.
Titusville is a small town. Drake well is probably what we are best known for, which is the site of the first oil drilling. Titusville used to have numerous jobs and things to do, but now it's pretty limited to to grocery stores, a few pharmacies and the Roller Rink.
I love the area and how quiet it is but I would like to see the police officers in the town doing more especially when it comes to someone's life being threatened and for the drugs to stop being made in the town.
Titusville is a small town with not much for people my age to do. That is the only downfall to this town. I moved here when I was fourteen years old and from the time I moved here till the present, I have felt welcome by everyone. It is a very welcoming town, and the people that live here will do anything to anyone as if you were their own family. My family has been a part of this area for years and has been involved in the community for years, like the local relay for life as well as city council and the youth football program here in town. I say those things imparticular because the community really comes out to help with volunteering efforts and have helped others including myself be the generous people we are today.
Being raised in Titusville I was very privileged. It was quite small town, where everyone knows you and the people are constantly going out of their way to help others. Now as I am an adult and I am beginning to start my own life I realize that Titusville would be a great place to raise a family in a safe community.
Lots of snow in the winter, frequently drops below freezing. Moderate summers.
A variety of restaurants, but I prefer to travel to other nearby towns for a dinner out.
The city is shrinking, and jobs are hard to come by. There are some, but I don't plan on finding my dream job here.
A variety of small shops but often go out of business due to high specialization.
