I have always loved this small, quaint town. Excellent school systems. It's a safe town still too! The local law enforcement is on top of their responsibilities. Outside of not currently having a grocery store, not much has changed in 20 years. Location is good since it's right off a major highway at one end, the other end leads right into the county of Miami county.
There is a great community here in Tipp City! It is small, so you know a lot of people around here, but also close to Huber Heights and Dayton. The location is great, and the people are even better!
Tipp City is a close-knit community that thrives on every small town aspect of life. It seems that everyone knows everyone, and it's close to impossible to walk down the street without seeing someone you know. However, this can lead to problems. Having a town this small and close together also means that everyone knows everything about you and your secrets are rarely kept. Along with that, Tipp City is one of the least diverse cities in the area. This causes a lot of prejudice and false ideas about those they don't interact with or see everyday. Even at school, it is evident that several groups of individuals have strong opinions on minorities that live not 20 minutes away. So, overall, I enjoy the relationships I have with the people in my small town, but the consequences of being a small town can bring down the experience of living there.
