Tillamook is a great little town! It is close to the mountains, the ocean, and lots of green space. There isn't much in the way of a night life as it is a rural farming town.
I love the small town feel, but there is enough tourism to create a larger city feeling. Many land areas are protected, so you can see local wildlife without barriers.
Tillamook is a town that isn't safe for minorities. It has a history of being a hotbed for KKK activities, and it's history has impacts to this day. Many people are bigoted and close-minded. The usage of racial slurs is a common occurance. Queer people are, too, treated poorly. There is little to do, aside from a singular small movie theater. The town also holds the persistant smell of manure. All in all, I would not recommend moving to Tillamook.
