I am grateful that Tiburon is undoubtedly a beautiful and safe town. The schools I grew up in are very high quality. However, there is almost zero racial diversity and the predominant ideology is NIMBY liberalism, which is harmful in ways that are not immediately obvious.
Overall, it is a very nice place to live. Things can be overpriced here, but the view and walking paths are extremely nice for walking, running, biking, and more. Since it is in the bay area, real estate is expensive, but the view and education make up for it.
Tiburon is not your every day town. Its is a small island North of San Francisco and home to the wealthy. Every house or property here is no cheaper than $1.5m. With that, comes a lot of nice people but also many entitled people so be prepared for that!
