Thornville is a small family friendly town, but that is about all it has going for it. There is almost no diversity in Thornville or its county as it is populated almost entirely with straight white Christians and their families. Despite the local school district's excellent rating, I can tell you from experience that if your student either excels or struggles in their academic journey then the schools will do nothing to challenge or aid them respectively.

Lovely Area, beautiful views! Buckeye lake is a wonderful place to walk and boat. Some of the areas around Thornville are a little rough, but on the whole it has been a lovely place to live so far!
Thornville is a quiet farming community that is thirty minutes from everything. We are a hardworking community that will work together to support our community when times are tough. Although we are a rural community we have everything we need from several family owned business that provide us with food and medication to your typical dollar stores to fill the gap.
