I am perfectly content with our little town. Our town is extremely successful and always seems to provide a safe and entertaining family fun. With the shields fest, after school games and activities, and the annual flea market, Thomas township attracts people from all over michigan.

I really love the atmosphere of Hemlock, MI. Everybody knows everybody, and there is a very quaint, friendly feeling. There is a lot of country living in this area. The only part I am concerned with is the lack of careers. There's jobs, but hardly any careers. The only places good for that around here is HSC and Dow Corning. I really enjoy living in Hemlock.
The police officers do their jobs, when needed they are there. Sure I do not see many people getting pulled over for speeding, running stop signs, etc. but they can't be everywhere at once. Also, the fire department is less than a mile away from the Hemlock Schools, and being a lot of the houses are near the schools, its a warm feeling knowing if there was an emergency, help would arrive soon.
