Thiensville is an adorable community right outside of Milwaukee. It may only be one square mile, but it is full of history and completed by a friendly and safe community. Although it is family friendly, there is not that much to do besides go to the park and walk to the local coffee shop.

I love Thiensville! It's such a cute little square mile and has the better Walgreens in it. I always feel safe walking around by myself (female).
It seems always cold. The summers are getting shorter, and the other months coldness lingers. If we have a hot summer it usually doesn't start until July and ends at the end of August. Right before the kids go back to school. Spring is wet and cold, and dreary. Some flowers are popping up, which cheers you up, but normally you are still wearing your winter jacket. The fall is very pretty with the leaves changing, but with that so does the weather. It is now time to break out the winter hats and gloves. Also the weather during this time is very unpredictable, so you cannot pack away the cooler outer gear, because one day it might be a day for a lighter weight jacket, and the next day it is snowing. Winters can be terrible. If you have a bad back or aches with coldness, this is not the place for you during the winter season. Its cold, dreary and dark when you get up and dark by 6:00 pm. Sometimes we can get walloped by a snow storm and other times the snow accumulation is quite low.
