The Villages Reviews
The Villages is an excellent place to live, especially if you're older than 50. There are more clubs and recreational activities than you'll ever be able to do. There are about 80 golf courses. It's also good for families who want to live in the family communities outside The Villages. If you work in The Villages, your children can go to The Villages charter schools which have an A rating. We have about 40 recreation centers that you can go to for free. There are exercise classes, clubs of every type that you can go to. The Villages has three town squares that have stores, restaurants and a square where there is live entertainment every night. I love to listen to the music and dance with my husband. I've lived here for 10 years and love it!
The Villages is one of the worlds biggest retirement communities in the world. There are multiple opportunities for a good time and to experience a well-rounded living environment. More people are moving to the villages because of its expanding real estate and business opportunities that it provides. The villages have many places for a fun experience, such as lake Sumter square and the multiple chain restaurants. However, this community is very notorious for its STD rate and has a lack of malls and shopping centers. Overall my experience in living in this environment has been positive.
Great investment, well maintained, friendly neighbors - tons of activities. What's not to love! My husband and I bought our first home there 8 years ago. We've since upgraded to a larger home and a second golf cart.
