I have only lived in The Village for two years now but I love the small town feel with easy access to downtown OKC. The Village is an older established town where everyone looks out for each other. I love that I know all my neighbors and when I'm home in the summer I can hear children out playing. It really is a hard to find tight nit community of all ages. The only thing it lack are better public schools and a little more nightlife!
My favorite part about The Village is the grocery store, Uptown Grocery Co. My family and I moved to the area in July and we also have a wonderful quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. No complaints! I feel safe here.
The Village is a very pleasant place to live. The people are friendly and it stays clean. The canal that runs through the center can smell though you have to be driving close to notice it. Overall I think that it is a great neighborhood.
