Working in Thatcher
This is a super amazing place to live! The people are all so nice, the schools are great, and the playgrounds and parks are fantastic! Not to mention that Thatcher is the second safest city in Arizona.
I love Thatcher! I grew up in the city, and this has been my first small town experience. The area is gorgeous, with Mt. Graham overlooking the city. I love to look at it as I run through the cotton fields on my morning runs. I came here to go to nursing school at Eastern Arizona College. The program has been a great experience, and whenever I drive down to Phoenix to work at the hospitals, I am reminded about how grateful I am for the lack of traffic congestion here. I haven't had difficulty getting a job here. There aren't that many places to eat at, but the restaurants we do have are delicious, my favorite being Casa Mahana. I feel like there are good people here. I would love to raise a family here someday.
Thatcher is an amazing college town. At times it can seem small and have nothing to do, but with further exploration lots of fun things can be found. There are hot springs, natural rock water slides and even ice caves on Mt. Graham. I love living in Thatcher!
