Tewksbury is a wonderful place to live. It is close to many different major highways to get both north and south. It has many different stores so there is always something close by.
Tewksbury is a beautiful loving town! There are many places to go out to eat, go outside, and have fun.
I have lived in 12 cities in 6 states and so far Tewksbury, MA is the worst place I have lived.
The cost of living is quite high for how little the town has to offer, the streets are in a perpetual state of disrepair despite much higher tax rates than other states I've lived in (where's the money going?) Main Street is littered with trash, abandoned buildings, vacant lots and empty store fronts. During my drive to the grocery store alone I pass over 20 vacant lots or abandoned buildings and stores, all on main street. Hard to justify the high rents and property values when businesses want nothing to do with this town.
Tewksbury isn't safe either, there are more registered sex offenders and documented rapes in Tewksbury than there are in neighboring towns of similar size like Dracut.
Traffic is awful as town's small and outdated streets and layout can't handle peak congestion, not to mention that the traffic lights can't be bothered to be synced.

Tewksbury is a great town with a lot to offer. It has many places to shop and eat and the community is wonderful.
Have a lot of great memories here, but would like the town to be a bit more livelier in the future! Not to mention maybe a little cheaper to live in.
Tewksbury is very nice and safe, but it does not have as much. In the past 5 years or so, we have recently gained a bowling alley and that has brought more life to our town. I still wish we had more. Like maybe a movie theater would be fun. I also wish we had an archery range.
Tewksbury is a very safe neighborhood. Little to no crime ever occurs. The tap water is good to drink and everything you need is nearby. There are many restaurants, but there is little to no nightlife.
Tewksbury used to be great but it has gotten worse by the year. Between the potholes, the disrespectful plow drivers, and the unnecessary amount of road work I do not see myself living here my entire life.
I love the people I have met in this town. However, there’s not that much to do. There is always a number of places to go for good but not much entertainment.
A small friendly town where everybody knows everybody. Overall, Tewksbury is a great place to live, I have lived here my entire life and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
I grew up in Tewksbury all my life and it's definitely become more of a lively town with activities and more offices/apartment complexes. I like Tewksbury, it's a quiet town for the most part and is safe.
I moved to Tewksbury about 5 years ago and appreciate the suburban feel. I have noticed there are some issues with drugs and patients at the state hospital escape from time to time. Other than that, great town
Very quiet town, rural but not too far from the Boston or Lowell. Is in middle of a few MBTA commuter rail stops. Many restaurants and parks surround the town and there are many local events as well.
Great town to raise a family in all-around. Close to Boston. I only wish that more buildings would be renovated.
Tewksbury is a lovely suburb north of Boston. It is mostly a bedroom community but has easy access to the city via 495 and 93 as well as many local shops and places to order out from.
Tewksbury is a relatively safe and quiet town. A vast majority of the residents here are white and are either families with small and/or teenage children or senior citizens.
Activities and events in the town are mainly focused on those demographics with kids library events, memorial day parades, a playground with several little leagues and soccer fields, and kids and Beatles tribute bands stopping by for concerts. For people aged 12 - 35 there's not really much for enjoyment other than Wamesit Lanes and the Escapology that just opened up. You'll have to go to Lowell next door or Boston if you want to experience diversity and culture. You need a car to get around as everything is spread out and there are few sidewalks in this town. Most restaurants are chains with a few independent gems.
I personally wouldn’t raise kids here because of the lack of diversity, sidewalks and activities to do for older kids but if you need a safe and quiet place to live, Tewksbury is a good choice.

I've lived here for 14 years and I really don't like it here. Not much to do here, lots of druggies and degenerates. The school system isn't very good. I can't wait to move to a different town
