I enjoy the atmosphere of the small town of Terryville. Living in a small town allows us to grow closer together and build stronger relationships. Sometimes, living in a small town has it's downfalls because we aren't offered as many opportunities as would be available at some larger schools, but I'm thankful for spending my whole life in this small town.
I like that Terryville is a small, close knit town where everyone knows everyone. Because of that, you get to go to school with the same kids through high school and maintain friendships with people you've known since you were little.
Terryville, CT is very family orientated. Really small town. It is close to Waterbury and Bristol in terms of close by developed cities. Good place to grow up considering they have really good public school. Quiet area if that is what you are looking for. The most beneficial thing to me is that there are a lot of local scholarship that have helped me finance my undergraduate. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are distributed to local high school students looking to go to college. Most of which are also renewable.
