If you have kids or like sleep do not move anywhere near the train tracks or post office. There is a slight bend in the tracks and from darkness until morning the scared conductors blast various amounts of times and lengths every single night all night. People say you get used to it, you don’t because there is no schedule. Close enough to it and it’ll shake your apartment or house. Double pain glass isn’t enough. Should be illegal to blast at night like that. Terrible. Then you’ve got the post office which starts working on its trucks and backing them up at 4am. Plus, price of houses here is now utterly absurd. People taking advantage.
Tequesta is also a suburb of world famous Palm Beach. It's a walkable, bikeable, upscale yet down-to-earth, people- and pet-friendly coastal village. Nestled between ocean, beaches, river, inlet, an historic Lighthouse, the Loxahatchee River and Jonathan Dickenson State Park. 2 miles to Jupiter's Harbourside Place, the Maltz Performing Arts center, waterfront restaurants and entertainment. 5 golf courses within a 5-mile radius. Half hour drive to Palm Beach International Airport.
Sidewalks are mostly everywhere in Tequesta, but only problem is most people wont use them! Joggers perfer the roads along with parents and small children. My street is a through street so lots of people speed down the road to get home faster and avoid a stop light.
