Temple Terrace is a clean, diverse, small city with reasonably affordable housing. It is a college adjacent community with many restaurants, shops, banks and grocery stores in the area. The city is well situated near other municipalities and attractions like Busch Gardens and the Tampa Museum of Science and Industry. The commute to USF, downtown Tampa, New Tampa, and Brandon is short and the city is near major highways. There is no public transportation available on weekends in some areas but the offerings M-F are decent. As is often the case in any city, there is some poverty and crime in the area. There does seem to be increased investment in community development in the area particularly near USF.

Temple Terrace is a safe and peaceful neighborhood. The town has many restaurants and stores that allow dining out or ability to purchase anything you desire. Nearby there is a major mall and movie theatre creating a fun atmosphere. Also, USF is located in this town adding to the festivities and scenery. The town is also very clean and has its own golf course. I love Temple Terrace as a place to live in
Nice area with nice homes, and many great local eateries and shops. There's a great Recreational Center at the heart of the community, and it's close to Tampa's theme parks!
