I've grown up here my entire life. The schools are very good and I've never had a bad experience in them. However, the water and sewage bills keep getting jacked up along with other bills because the people in charge don't know how to spend money correctly and keep making bad decisions. It still has a good community and has a nice small town feel.

We need to have an under pass built for the railroad and four lane road on Hwy 113 through town, more restaurants that have healthy options. We need another grocery store. adding Retail stores would be nice as long as the road is expanded for traffic to flow freely. They need to crack down on the local drug activity as well instead of worrying with the incoming traffic along I20, take out the local addicts that are under their noses.
Temple is a great city if you like country living, but want quick access to the big city of Atlanta. In Temple, neighbors wave hello and look after one another. When you want to visit Atlanta, you hope on 1-20 and in about 40 minutes you can be in Atlanta. In today's crazy world, it's great to be able to hear cows mooing and crickets chirping, while knowing you're able to also access big city happenings if you are interested.
