I like the support they show the local football teams but I think they show support the kids other ways like donating for school, having a community back to school bash, and after school programs. Also get the kids involved with fitness and provide them resources whenever they go to college. Also start adding more places to the town we barely have a mall it has no good store within it. Add more food restaurants like cheddars, smoothie king, or tropical smoothie cafe. Allow small businesses to thrive because they all end up quitting in the future.
I have lived in Temple for two years now, I came from upstate NY. Here in Temple people are friendly, genuine, honest, and polite! You lose your cell phone and wallet it is returned to you...everything intact! There are plenty of eateries, salons, stores, and parks! Down the road from me is a nature trail! I love Lion's Park. They have several playgrounds and one is covered to keep the hot sun off you while you play. They also have two dog parks! Miller's Park has a nice playground, a splash pad, and clean rest rooms! Life in Temple is simple and easy. Everything you need is here and easy to get to, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet.
