I like the area that I live in. I'm right in the Historic district of Temple and many of the houses are old but kept up in amazing shape. They are anywhere from 2-4 stories big. I love walking through the area with my dog. There are also many parks. I have one just a few blocks away from where I currently live. I'm only a few blocks from the library, post office, and my bank. Even though I do live about a block from a train track, it doesn't bother me. I have always loved the sound of trains going by. The grocery stores are a little further away but, sometimes you just want to get out of the house, even with the pandemic going on and see other people, whether you talk to them or not doesn't matter. What matters is that you see people and know that everything will be alright. We have lots of restaurants, for fast food, or go in and sit down restaurants. We have wonderful Mexican Food restaurants, Italian restaurants, burger joints, Asian food, etc. Ya'll come see us some time!
Temple is a very fast growing town. Many businesses are found here, including numerous fast food restaurants, a mall, shopping strips, parks, and even several local grocery stores. Temple takes pride in their cultural differences, they even host fairs and events for their community! We have an EXPO center in town where we host rodeos, concerts, and other interesting events. Our town is welcoming and the citizens care for one another. I love this town!
Can the citizens on the East Side of Temple sue our city for the neglect of the East side of Temple. We have parks that the city need to take care of on East Temple we have stopped up drains and creeks, snakes are crawling around on the side walks and on the roads, the road conditions are terrible over here our elders have fallen and hurt themselves on these broken sidewalks, please if your an attorney and you can help us less fortunate people on the East side please contact us we are being asked by city council what is it that we want over here ? We want the same good things that you want. We want our roads bridges parks sidewalks fixed, protection against drive by shooting. Temple official if you would help us on the East side Our city could possibly become a full city and community.
