A hometown feel, great school system, great neighborhoods, vechicle insurance needs to be revised. Right now it is a no fault insurance. It is close to shopping, have a lot of restaurants with varieties for all. A bowling ally and YMCA for great family activities.
Southwestern Michigan is a wonderful place to live. Housing is affordable, the weather is less extreme than many other northern towns, and there are many things to do. Chicago is only four hours away, and metropolitan areas such as Ann Arbor are a short drive away. Several very good universities are within commuting distance including the University of Michigan, the University of Toledo and Bowling Green University. The local industry is going through a shift from heavy automotive, but the worst of the growing pains seem to be over and the area has great potential.
Temperance,MI is a very well kept town. It is considered Bedford township, which has a highly ranked school system. The community is tight knit and willing to help newcomers. One thing I would like to see changed is the road conditions of Douglas road, as it has not been replaced in over ten years and many people lose their tires goin down this main road that stretched from Ida, MI to Toledo, OH
