I appreciate the diversity in Teaneck, there are multiple ethnic and religious groups that vary from all socioeconomic backgrounds. The only downside to all the diversity is that it is not as blended as it should be. The economically privileged population favors private schooling over public affecting the quality and resources within the school district. Sure we are diverse but many ethnic groups still face challenges.
Teaneck is a very diverse community to live in. They have many stores that are in good walking distance, such as a CVS, 7-Eleven, Walgreens, and more. They have police that are on the watch for your protection. They have a great list of alumni, including Kansas City Chiefs' Tamba Hali, Back to the Future composer Alan Silvestri, etc. With respect for diversity, great walking areas, and many other fantastic traits, Teaneck is a great New Jersey suburb to reside in. It worked well for me for 19 years, so I think it can work for all you prospective residents, too!
