There is no local public park for kids or pets. There are no walking paths. There are not many job opportunities in the neighborhood and you have to commute at least an hour to reach a city. According to community comments the school is terrible.

I have lived in Tappahannock my entire life. There aren't any family friendly locations to visit. Usually families have to travel an hour in either direction for entertainment. There aren't a variety of restaurants in our town either. Those that are here are higher in price.
Tappahannock is a river town with very little access to the river for the public. There are nice locally-owned restaurants and really friendly people.
