Employment is not bad. There are a decent amount of jobs available in Jefferson City and Columbia. The cost of living is not as high as some areas, so salaries are generally lower.

There is not a lot of crime in this area. There is, however, the occasional instance when a car is broken in to and a purse is stolen.
