All in all Tamiami is a great place to live. There isn't much nightlife and the public schools are average, but it is a very safe, family friendly, and diverse place to live in. Be warned, Spanish is the most common language spoken in this area.

Police have been seen patrolling parking lots and condominium entry ways. They also respond quickly to noise reports, emergencies and criminal activity - many times undercover. Also, they are known to like our closest main road as their preferred spot to set speed traps.
This area is relatively newly developed in comparison to the rest of the city of Miami. The home i live in was constructed in the 1980's, and has retained its integrity fairly well. The neighbors are friendly and there are plenty of trees with beautiful flowers growing throughout the neighborhood.
