I was a troubled youth growing up in Tallmadge. I was someone who did not spend time with quality people who encouraged my personal and academic growth. I was never a part of any electives or sports which I think led to me falling into the wrong group of people. I would love to see Tallmadge embrace those students who do not fit into the mold. I have seen the positive effects and long-time loyalty fellow families and students have towards Tallmadge and I only wish I had the same.

I do love how safe Tallmadge is. There are multiple trails and metro parks for the community to use which makes healthy living easier. Tallmadge also likes to promote family business such as Bierce Hardware. At the Tallmadge circle there are annual parades and events which help to bring the community closer together.

I like the sense of community and small town feel, even though it is still close to shopping and entertainment. You are able to feel like you are living in a more rural area without having the distance that living in a rural community often gives. It is a great place to live no matter what stage you are at in life. Whether your are just starting your family or ready to retire Tallmadge is a great place to live.
Pretty nice town. In between Akron University and Kent state so you have a decent commute to either of them. My commute to Akron U is about 15 minutes, and i believe the commute to Kent State is about 11 minutes. There are a couple plazas super close for lots of job opportunity.
