Tallassee is definitely a small town where everyone knows everyone. The schools are sports oriented specifically football, softball, and basketball. What I would love to see change is the scenery by adding different stores or restaurants.

People are friendly enough but the only shopping is dollar stores and independently owned grocery store with limited choices. There is nothing there to do unless you like high school football. No movies, bowling or shopping, nothing.
Tallassee is very quiet and everything is easily located. Tallassee does not have many stores but they do open at a decent time. It appears to be very homey. The school system is located in areas that are easily recognizable. The police station is also easily identifiable. The neighborhoods are well groomed but could use some updating. Traveling through Tallassee gives you ways to take short cuts to other cities like Auburn, Dadeville, Montgomery as well as Alexander City and many other places. Those short cuts often offers very scenic routes like beautiful trees and flowers. Traveling through those areas gives people a sense of a country feel.
