Good library, park, community festivals, farmers market, and shopping. Would like to see a movie theater here.

What a challenging job local meteorologist Jeff Verszyla has! Weather here changes faster than Harry Houdini can make a lion disappear. Pittsburgh can experience all four seasons in one week. From polar vortex temperatures dropping well below zero to heat waves in the that bring in some scorching hot days, we never know what the future holds. One constant, however, includes the lovely pot holes that pop up all around the city in March.
Living in Swissvale has been great - it's very close to the city and the parkway, so it's easy to get pretty much anywhere very quickly. Most of my neighbors have lived on our street for a while and are friendly and welcoming.
