Lived here for 11years. Nothing to do for the children. No movie theatre, Bowling alley, skating rinks. They literally have nothing to do except fine trouble to get into. Job opportunities are hard to fine. Cost of living isn't to bad which is a plus. Never know what the weather will be like on a daily basis here. The city of Sweetwater has maybe 11,000 people and still growing.
Sweetwater is a small town with the same people. During the week students go to school and adults go to work. The week days are quiet and slow. However, on the weekends you may find some mischief. Since there is nothing entertaining to do in Sweetwater, teenagers find that the only thingthere is to do is eat and cause some trouble. There is nothing to keep them occupied. There are a few places to choose from to eat, a few places to shop for clothes and a walmart. I would like to see Sweetwater add fun and entertaining things, like an acarde, for the kids to do. Sweetwater is a family friendly town, nonetheless, and I love it and have often thought of raising a family here.
