I live on 5th street by the local police station and it’s a really nice neighborhood. Rent is a little expensive for the area but that the usual around times like these. I’ve lived in Sweetwater for most of my life and I rather enjoy living there friendly people close by FIU campus and also friendly neighbors. Never really had a problem with anyone in my years of living there. I’m planning on going to FIU once I get receive my AA for nursing at Miami dade. Living closer to the campus will be a plus as well.

I've lived there for 4 years, I've never had an issue. Really calm environment, I live in front of a Christian School so there's no traffic in the main street. Everything you need is 5 minutes away and Univeristy is walking distance.
Sweetwater is a safe, police patrolled neighborhood. Anytime you walk or drive by everyone greets you with a smile on their face. A perfect area to reside in with no disturbances.
