Swatara Township Reviews
Swatara Township is located near the Capital of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg. Swatara Township is far enough from the city to not have to worry about the city life style and its' troubles. The Emergency Services (Police, Fire, EMS) that cover Swatara Township are excellent! Swatara Township provides easy access to all surrounding attractions of Central Pennsylvania.
Swatara Township is a very diversified community. It is a community that is growing both in population and in industry. I have been around the police department because my Dad was an officer. I had the opportunity to go through the Citizens Police Academy when I was junior in high school.
What I like about Swatara Township is that it is so close to many different towns. It is only a ten minute drive to the city, Hershey, Middletown, Hummelstown, and Linglestown. There are plenty of local job opportunities with multiple grocery stores, shops, restaurants or hotels to look for employment. There are a bunch of different places to live, there are playgrounds and parks to take children to, and there is access to multiple grocery stores that allow for a healthy lifestyle. One thing I would change about Swatara Township is to have more of a nightlife, maybe some places that are open a little later to hang out at. Overall, Swatara Township is family friendly, has plenty of job opportunities, and is a great place to live.
