Its quiet and okay if you dont do much. Having to go into monroe for most things gets old. But the area public schools are great. You'll have neighbors but you won't feel smothered. There's plenty of space to grow but it can feel lonely at times. There really isn't much to swartz we are just a tiny incorporated village near monroe.

The people are pretty nice, and it's a generally safe place to live, but the town is extremely boring with not much at all when it comes to entertainment and things to do.
I have always felt safe in this town. I grew up here and never considered whether I was safe or not until recently. Now, every day I hear of crime in some form or another. There are women getting mugged in public places in the middle of the day and young people shooting each other nearly every day. I am concerned with where our town is headed.
