In Swansboro, also called "The Friendly City by the Sea", is exactly how you would imagine it. The people in the stores and restaurants are kind to you as well as helping you with anything you need. The traffic is light and there is a lot of cops to protect and ensure the safety of the town. The schools have fantastic education systems as well as Onslow County Schools, which run all of the schools in Onslow County as well as Swansboro. The beaches near Swansboro are beautiful and the stores are kept clean and tidy. Swansboro is a laid back city with not much to do, but the neighboring Towns, Jacksonville and Emerald Isle, has lots to do on the weekends or even during the week after school or work. Plus it doesn't take long to get there.
Swansboro is a lovely, small, homey town. The water makes for great pictures, downtown provides a great place to help local businesses and have a great time. You often recognize the people you know, if you happen to go out. Small businesses have no trouble building a connection with every customer they encounter.
