The community is nice and developed enough to have premium amenities, but rural enough for people to appreciate nature. This suburb is perfect for those who want to be close to Atlanta, but not live in all of the business. The schools are the best in the entire county and produce top rated scores. The nightlife is decent, with Duluth and Atlanta close by. Safety is excellent, and the crime rate is low. Because of these qualities, it does cost a little more to live in this area, but it is worth it. There is lots of diversity, with people from all over the place here. Also, the job opportunities are seemingly endless!
Very quiet and safe environment. We moved here to try and get away from the hustle and bustle of what we were used to and growing up in this kind of environment was a lot different. Everyone generally kept to themselves. The neighborhood kids and I would play afterschool until night fell, and we knew just about everyone that lived within our small subdivision. So small and comfortable, if something was out of place my dad would always quickly take notice. For example, cars that didn't seem familiar passing through the neighborhood and individuals that looked as if they weren't residents of our subdivision. A lot of parks are fairly closeby and these places are kept-up quite well. The food scene is mostly just fast foods and East Asian food places. This makes sense because growing up, the general population of Suwanee Lawrenceville were Asian and Caucasion. The perks are being relatively close to the Mall of Georgia and that everyone enjoys keeping to themselves.
