I admire the safety and security provided in Sunrise, Florida. When driving around this city, there are always police officers seen making sure that the neighborhoods are being patrolled. Along with this, there are various opportunities for every age group. For children, there are many parks to attend and interactive activities such as indoor parks as well. For teenagers, Sunrise has the Sawgrass Mall that they enjoy going to on the weekends. As well as the Sunrise Civic Center where teens enjoy playing sports with their peers. For young adults, there are various gyms that they can become a member of and enjoy working out in their spare time. For Elders, there are numerous senior communities that they can live in and find a community in. Overall, the city of Sunrise is a very good city and they accommodate to their resident's needs and wants.
My experience has been alright. Once you move near the sawgrass area going down to the weston side, it gets incredibly different than my side next to lauderhill. The police have seriously pulled some sketchy moves that i would consider as discrimination. My parents barely speak english, they work hard, and they’re incredibly supportive to help the community. They encouraged me to get involved with the city during my senior year of highschool, and I must say; i learned more about the real world than I did taking college level courses in School.
I love Sunrise because of the many opportunities it provides. Great education and there is always an event happening in the city. I will always feel safe to go out and have fun and become a member of the community. Living in Sunrise I can never feel left out of the loop. Whether it is fun events or important city updates, Sunrise is always on track.
