Growing up here has been amazing, great fellowship and safe community. Not much needs changing. All of my neighbors are so nice and welcoming and the amount of kids here is great!
Jackson has the worst potholes in the state! Jackson is a very spread out city. It depend on where you live, really, for walking distance. I would say 70 to 80 percent of people in area have a car. Having a car for transportation is necessary!
A buss for transportation is available but I wouldn't recommend it. One airport but I never see anyone flying in. Its very small and I think its private. There is a train! Also go to places there is no side walks to that's why walking isn't really an option.

In Jackson, MI I have everything I need. Many restuarants are available but the best pizza place is Klavons! Also the best donuts in Michigan I would say is Hinckley's donuts! Both are family owned and Hinckely's has been around for over 100 years! Jackson is a very industrial city. It's very spread out but overall it's not a bad place to live in, it's just boring.
