Summersville is a nice small town with friendly people and a decent number of attractions for a town so small. It has a theatre, a small mall, several nice restaurants including Mexican and Japanese, a few gyms, etc. As far as things I would change I am tempted to say I would like more things to do. However, it is a very very small town and I believe that it has about all the attractions that could be supported. But that would be the primary issue: just not enough to do for residents.

It's a beautiful town with a great tourism industry and cool places to visit near the Summersville Lake and the New River Gorge. Unfortunately, the quality of life for those here who are not one of the old wealthy families in town is very low.
Summersville, WV is best known for its lake. It is said that there is a small town under the lake. It is a beautiful little town with many friendly people.
