Stroud is a very small town with not much to do. The people are friendly and the neighborhoods are quiet. There is one main street that most businesses are on any by 6pm the town pretty much shuts down. The crime rates are low, but drug rates are high.

Stroud is a small town that has a nice homey feel, but it doesn't extend past my own home. The community and the people living in the town are a very unfrirndly sort, with no real concept for tge idea of community. They take great pride in their little town, but really, there is nothing to take pride in. The people in a place is what matters, and sadly, most prople living in Stroud are of the sour sort. They are slow to welcome outsiders, and quick to make enemies, ehile at the same time, nevrr deviating from their own social circles. Most everyone in Stroud is related to each other somehow, and if you are not related, you have no business being there, really. It's a sad thing, because there are some very nice things about Stroud. You just have to either get past or overlook the social aspect if the town to enjoy it.
I know that when I lived in Stroud, we were the targrts of vandals. We had several apple trees planted in the lot bejind our house, and even after the fact that we put up no tresspassing signs at all of the entry points, we still had punks come and stomp our sapplings down. We would call the police, and they would respond, but by tge time they did, thr culprit would be long gone, and we could only give the name if who we suspected it to be.
