Streetsboro, Ohio is what most would call a highway town as the interstate empties directly into the heart of the city. I believe a major component that's missing from our city is the entertainment aspect. Although there are a few entertainment focused buildings in Streetsboro, it is lacking in fun family activities available around town. Fortunately, nearby cities have many fun activities that are fit for families to enjoy. As for our school district, I believe that our schools do a good job in preparing students for college by offering AP and honors classes, specially designed as college prep courses. Our school administrators work hard to make our schools successful. They take great pride in helping students grow in and out of classroom. Overall, living here has its ups and downs as any city does. It has room for improvement, but it's still growing and I think that as the city grows our community will continue to take steps in the right direction.
Its decent on certain levels when it comes to restaraunts and at least half of the city is safe, however, the uprise in theft/ massive fights/ and the ever so declining school and student conditions may prove otherwise Dependng on what part you live in, it could be a great place to live, other parts arent reccomended though as they prove that drug use/theft is prevelant. I may also add that this is a suburb of cleveland and like cleveland as a whole, dabbles in whether living there is safe...
Streetsboro is a mid sized town that sits between Kent and Hudson. It's a cute little place with multiple gyms, restaurants and is known for the Streetsboro auto-mile. They have three very popular attractions, two in the summer and the other is a year-round activity. In the summer they celebrate Streetsboro family days as well the annual ice cream social. Year-round the school boasts an impeccable theater program known to most as Thrive. They put on classic as well as new scripts in all seasons. Hopefully with some of the recent vacancies comes new businesses and activities for the community.
