Stratham is very family friendly and a great place to raise kids. It boasts some of the best public schools in the state. There are great parks, an annual fair, and several restaurants. The best part is that it is only 5 miles from the beach!
Stratham, New Hampshire is located near the beautiful seacoast but also not far from mountains and lakes. It is only one hour from Boston and Maine. It is central to major highways and it is a quick drive to stores and restaurants. Portsmouth, NH has great nightlife and historical value and is only a ten minute drive. A great community hospital is in the next town over with major medical centers 45 minutes drive.
Stratham has award winning school system, belonging to SAU 16. Full day kindergarten is one bonus of this community. Despite all the amenities, Stratham maintains its country feel with many local farm activities and the yearly local fair.

I feel very safe in my home and on the roads. It's a beautiful town located perfectly between other great surrounding towns like Exeter and Greenland/Portsmouth. I grew up in Stratham so I went through all the schools system, and I was honestly more prepared than fellow students in college because of my educational experience with SAU16. Everyone is nice and wants to help their neighbors anyway they can.
