It is an amazing town! We love our town, it is the best! With all its safe and friendly neighbors and neighborhoods, anyone could find friends. The schools are run very well and there are so many parks one can go to. Including Cuyahoga National Valley. There are plenty of shops and venues to go to. All of them are right around the corner and spread throughout the city. I am telling you Stow is just great. You have to see it in the summertime just gorgeous. Trees are everywhere and the wildlife man is just fantastic. Kent State University is only 15 minutes away and all the major highways are so easily accessible. You just cannot beat Stow. The surrounding areas are just as nice you have Hudson, Cuyahoga Falls, Streetsboro, Akron, Cleveland, Macedonia, and Twinsburg. Literally, they're just spread around the whole city. It does not take long to get anywhere.
In regards to describing Stow, I would not want it any other way. Stow provided me with a blueprint and that led me to multiple opportunities which have the potential to turn into success. It was awesome to know that I had a good community behind me in terms of having phenomenal support at every single football game, team dinners were always provided by the football families, and between the boosters and the staff everything was unreal and appreciated. I cannot fathom enough the amount of variety Stow has to offer. Stow has great places to shop, eat, explore, etc. The element of scenery that Stow has to offer is astonishing too. There are little town areas that are slowly growing as the years progress, schools are flourishing as that includes public and private, and lastly it is a great place to raise a family. The neighborhoods are family friendly and there is houses that are able to be purchased by every single class whether that is rich, middle class, or poor. Stow is great.
It’s not quite as quite of a place anymore and the roads are getting busier but still a beautiful area to grow up in. I live in suburbs of Stow since I was born and I can’t say I would have preferred anywhere but here. It was safe. The different city wide celebrations are a blast. And the shopping area is always a great place to find exactly what you need. Plus you can go get Handel’s Ice Cream afterward!
