Working in Stoughton
I love living in Stoughton! The home hold really high value, the small schools are excellent and we are a 15 minute drive from Madison, WI and an hour from Milwaukee, WI.
Stoughton is an adorable town with incredible heritage. It's becoming fairly modernized as well, featuring several banks, 5 Kwik Trips, 3 elementary schools and several delicious fast and sit down food options to enjoy. Stoughton, home of Syttende Mai, a celebration of the town's Norwegian heritage that hundreds travel the country to attend, is a wonderful small city to live in. My only complaint of it is lack of recreational activity, though Madison, our capital city, is nearby.
Stoughton is a quaint small town with a strong connection to Norwegian culture. On an average day Stoughton is quiet with a few activities here and there. The serene nature of the town provides a sense of stability and peace; and the kind and welcoming people don't hurt either. At night you can take a stroll along the river, go down to the bowling alley, or go to Viking Brew Pub where you will be met with laughter and smiles. This town truly feels like a great place to call home.
