Storrs is a very interesting town, It is surrounded by the massive UCONN campus which offers a huge diversity of people. This is due to the fact that UCONN accepts many international students. UCONN being in the area means there are also many student-run stores there are stores such as CVS and Price Chopper open most of the day and night, you can get Subways and Dunkin Donuts at multiple places. The only downside is that college students like to party thus it can get really loud during some of the weekends and especially during spring break!
It's a small college town within the City of Mansfield. Storrs has two bars on campus, a decent grocery store and a bunch of different places to eat. Everything is very easy to get to if you don't have a car on campus with the bus routes. There are many places on campus to study quietly or talk and hang out with a bunch of friends. The traffic on campus is usually bad early mornings and late afternoons because of construction, athletic events or a lot of students just getting to class.
Storrs is a beautiful place full of sights worth seeing if you are a nature buff. If you're looking for city vibes and club nights then Storrs is not for you. However, if your goal is peace, tranquility and you love nature, Storrs is great.
